Just got my GReddy SP2 installed today!!!! '1990 CRX Si
Well I must be brain dead or something because I can't find the EF cat back exhaust thread to save my life! "cat back", "cat back exhaust", "exhaust" I could not find it with any of these keywords?? oh well I know there where some guys looking into the GReddy Sp2 system and since I just installed a brand new one on my Si today I thought I would post pics so here ya go. I love the sound as to be expected from GReddy, nothing but a deep growl and not too loud at all even at 5k on the highway, just a nice hum.

The tip is a little close to the bumper but that is because the test pipe was for the sorry *** stock exhuast that was modified from it's original length before I ever bought it. I will be getting a highflow cat to fix it and then it will be straight, does anybody know if the stock USDM Si cat from a '90 Si fits the stock exhaust and header location with a B-series installed? I have an FGK header with a "Jasma" (JDM equivelent of CARB apporved?) plate stamped on it.

nice, i wonder if that will fit on my wagon, my buddy work at Greddy... do you mind if i ask how much you paid for it? Also, JASMA i believe is a quality and sound compliant stamp. Japan has noise laws as well.

Well I do get wholesale on them so advertising my price is kind of a no-no, you can pm me for a price (I can usually beat most prices)

This is the only one I have - but I think it's not the "original" one....

I have the original SP and I must say the stainless piping on the SP2 is a nice addition, but I don't like the rolled tip.
I have a B series in my CRX and when using a stock GSR header, I had to get a 5"-6" pipe welded in to reach the stock cat. I think the B16 header will come pretty close though.

Here's the old thread, but there's no SP2 pics like these there:

but now you could updated it with some!

I like it, but it's a bit too loud for my taste. Even with stcok header and cat, it draws a lot of attention from the cops.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Wha? My SP2 is quiet I have never had a cop give my car another look and it looks like the type of car that is just out to cause trouble.
Isn't that right VtecSyndrome?

Hmm, interesting...
I'll bet its quieter than my current setup:
cherrybomb resonator and a supertrapp with 12 discs... its F-in LOUD and sounds like a goat getting its nuts tore off with a beehive on its head

I wonder if exhaust laws aren't as strict down there... Cops have quotas here in Calgary - they have to give out at least 1 ticket per shift so we get pulled over for some stupid things.
I like the way my SP2 sounds but it is far from quiet. It has a decent tone when driving at lower RPM's but really let's people know I'm around when I get above 4500 RPM good exhaust in my opnion.

Yeah the tip is not my favorite but that is the easiest part to fix down the road if I decide to so that's no problem. I guess I need to lengthen my test pipe by about 1-2 inches and it will be butter!<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by CRX Toad »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

HA HA I know your joking but for real, when I searched the word "exhaust" it did not show up?
I think the search function was messing up because I never had a problem before.
and by the way, my exhaust looks WAY better than YOURS HA HA
