Just curious if any of you guys think that a B16 tranny would be better than a LS.
As of now my car has ran some mid 10's being a best of 10.52@139 with a Ls tranny and 24.5" slicks. I was thinking of goin with a B16 tranny and 25" slicks, let me know if you guys think this would help my car at the track!

95 civic coupe with 540 whp btw my rev limit is 9300, this is what my best pass looks like.

I feel that the LS is good for mostly 1/8, but my 3rd and 4th gears are too long and it may be hurting me up top.

 

You will definately benefit from the B16 trans throughout the 1/4 mile. The only downfall is that you may need to either move the limiter up or shift to 5th. With the LS trans and the 24.5's you're crossing the traps about 7900rpm w/ the B16 and 25's you'll be at about 9150rpm at the same speed(139mph).
