im trying to buy some 6.5 speakers for my Crx, 4 in total and I dont know what to buy

You see all these number and I dont know what everything means or if there lying.

The ones that catch ur eye are the 1400watt nonames for 10 bucks but obivously somethings wrong there

Or i see things like the audiobahn 6.5" speakers, they seem pretty good
Ive also seen INFINITY 6012I speakers for very cheap

Most speakers are only like 200 watts peak though, what do I want?

I just want some nice sounding music that isnt completely all high pitched but I only wanna use 4 6.5" speakers and a kicker 400.1 4 chancel amp that I have

What would some good speakers be for me for cheap? Could I go with the inifinities or something different for cheap?

Get what you can afford. If you can, go to a shop that sells them and listen to them.

General rule of thumb is that a speaker that sounds good in a wall at the store is going to sound better with an amp and installed...

I'm sure that there's a store somewhere close that you could go to for an "audition".

 

i can tell you that the kicker 5 1/4 components are very nice. i am going to get the 6.5 components for my 90 crx. i have the kicker 850.4 amp, but the 400 you have will run any kicker stuff nice.

here are quality brands that i know and like.. price is a bit moderate, but you pay for the quality..
kicker, mb quartz, phoenix gold, rockford fosgate, jl audio, audiobahn..

sounddomain.com is a great place to buy from. i bought my entire sterio from them and paid for shipping on only like 3 items out of 10.

 

when picking out speakers, the Continuous wattage of the speaker needs to be higher than that of the RMS output of your amp

I'd exercise caution with any sale that's significantly lower than MSRP. Could be a remanufactured product (?).

my 3 way infinity kappas have a crossover with them. I'm sure the 2-way's should need one as well. Thos are awesome prices on kappa's. I spent like $300-400 on a pair of 6x9 kappas and 6.5" kappas. I have a amp pushing 85 watts to them all. They sound really nice.

 

It says the only thing missing is the user manual so and it includes crossover wires so Im assuming it comes with them

ive noticed a lot of people in here seem to jock infinity a lot. and im not tryin to knock them but they have a bit of a muddy sound to me. i would much rather look into alpine... thats what i have in my car right now. even their low end type-s stuff is good!
