Default What do you think?

Okay so I took out my MSD last night and put in a new distributor, coil, and rotor. I also put new spark plugs and wires in, and since I was in there I put a JDM ITR red valve cover on. I was having some problems getting it started with luck finally was able to get it to start. However my problem is my timing belt is very looses and I am supposed to be leaving town tomorrow in the integra for my honeymoon. I need to get the belt tightened tomorrow morning. How much should this cost me and how long should they take doing this? Thank you H-T

call a shop local to you. You're in TN.. I'm in Vic B.C. Do you think the shop prices are going to be the same? I think not.

Okay heres the thing...I got the belt tightend a little bit, but not enough. There is no where that can do it in the morning so I can still leave. I know this is not wise but do you think I can drive it where I am going and back (about 600 miles total if that much)? And then have honda do it when I get back...because they cant get to it until Feb. 4th.
Like I said it is not a smart idea but I have been driving the car with a semi- loose timing belt since the end of Sept. (didnt realize it was loose)
Please someone give me a little help. Thanks

Would your parents or her parents allow you to borrow one of their cars for the time you are gone and let them drive urs since they wont be driving nearly that far everyday?

Even tho u have been driving on it since september, i would not risk it. Piston and valve meetings are never pretty.

Well her parnets live 15 hours away so they are out of the question and mine well my dad and brother both have POS's and my mom is not giving up her beloved mini van.

I am going to try and get the damn thing replaced tomorrow morning before we leave, I got a guy coming by to buy some parts at noon and already have to wait that long so what the hell.
Thanks for the help.
