Do any preludes in USDM have heated side mirrors?
Just as the topic states.
I'm trying to hook up the ones I got on my JDM mirrors on my civic but haven't had any luck with the defroster part of the wiring. Any ideas?
I'll be asking in other forums as well.

Yes same thing with the civic, but I can't get ahold of any Canadians or Europeans who can help with the wiring.

Well, my questions are numerous. I assume the tech would be the same from Civic to Prelude of course.
Are they hooked up to a relay?
Are they activated by the rear-defroster button, or another button?
Why would there be 2 wires for the defroster? Seems like a signal is all that would be necessary as there's already power and ground in the door. Since there are 2 wires, what do they do and how would they hook up?
It's tough to just 'trial and error' hook this up because you can't really 'see' the defroster work otherwise I guess I could figure the mirror end out.

The two wires are probably power and ground. That way, since heated mirrors were an option (i believe), they could use the same harnesses for everything else and just have a separate harness for heated mirrors. Otherwise, they'd have to have a tap of some sort run off the power wire in the door, or some sort of connector that was different between different models, which would be more expensive. It'd just be cheaper to have a separate harness like that.
I don't have any info on the wiring portion but they are turned on via a switch located where the power window controls are, at least on a 92 anyway. They are completely independant of the rear defrost.
on a 5th gen the push button switch is located to the left of the power mirror controls.
and the phil is correct. there are two wires. one for power (orange/white wire), and the second that is a ground (black).

hmmm. . . so the way the defrosters work, does it matter which way these wires are hooked up? Sounds like a dumb question, but if there's nothing on the circuit but a 'resistor' which creates heat, it shouldn't matter which way it's connected.
Ok, so I guess I need to find out how the Civic is setup, because I don't remember ever seeing any anywhere with a button on the mirror switch for the defroster. I'll ask in EG forum again.
In the meantime, let me know if there is indeed a relay for timing, or if it is just an on/off switch.
