im putting a new cv axle in my 94 prelude si...is there a difference from putting one in w/ ABS and w/out ABS? like is it any harder or more difficult to do if you have ABS? because my friend has changed his in his EG w/ no ABS, but now were putting mine in and i have ABS...so i was wondering if we are going to encounter any problems...

 

installing and removing is the same process. the ABS axle will have a ring on it that the sensor uses to detect lock up.

 

yeah i figured it was goin to be something to that effect...but i just didnt know if it was any different than taking one out w/out ABS.

it wasnt really that clear on what he was saying the "same" was...so i was seeing if anyone else would post.

 

soo i went to put it in and the bolt that goes down toward the ground the the lower control arm goes on, the one where u have to use a joint puller to get off...yeah it wouldnt come off. so i just decided to take it to Daytona CV Axle and have a the pros doing it for less money.
