I just bought the Pioneer DEH-P6800MP and after installing it, when I turn on it on the antenna goes up even when it's playing a cd. Does this depend on the unit? On my old one, before it got stolen, the antenna only extends when I'm listening to the radio.

Doesn't that unit have a blue wire and a blue/white wire? If so, use the blue/white and the antenna should operate as it was meant to.

 

it only has a blue/white wire only and it's connected to that and it stays up the whole time the unit is on
