I don't think there is such a thing as a "best header". You need to pick a header that is BEST for your setup.
What are your goals? Do you plan on staying N/A, or are you eventually going to go turbo. If your planning on going turbo, then i say just save your money. But if you plan on staying N/A then spend your money once and spend it correctly. So in the future you don't regret blowing money away on a pos.
For a header, do you want more midrange or more top-end power. This will greatly help your decision. From there you'll be able to decide on which company to go with. Also, just don't base your judement on a 4-1 or 4-2-1. Because, now some 4-2-1, also have some characteristics of a 4-1. Some notable companies are SMSP, RMF, Hytech, Comptech, Jun, etc.

How much are you looking to spend?

You can't expect someone just to tell you which one to go with. Search and see what people are using and if they like them or not. You can contact SMSP, RMF they are members on this board, and maybe Hytech. Tell them what your looking to achieve, i.e. midrange power, and your setup, and they will fab up a custom header.

Personally, if i were you i would just stay with the stock one and save up some more and get one of the companies i posted about, but don't limit youreslf to those, there are other companies out there that are very good as well. Do it once and do it right. But its your money, if you feel like getting a megan header, or others in that price range do so. But remember to pick one that helps your goals. For more midrange power, you should look into a header that has smaller diameter, longer tubes, longer smaller diamter collector, also a tri-y collector is better because it helps with more ground clearance than a box shaped. Also a "stepped" header isn't a bad idea either.
Again just do your research and good luck with whatever you plan on doing.

You mean the stock one, you only have one header.
Budget? Goals? You have to know what you want to do and how much do you want to spend, all this will affect your decision. Are you just looking for a temporary replacement. If so just get a used stock one, if you really want to upgrade now then look into

THE thing every header will fit any B series.. but the location where the oil pan is located , thats where your prob is.. if you have a b16 then get either a gsr, si or type r header.. they are all the same.. and you can go to ebay a buy a DC for $249 or a greddy header for $289.. like they said dont limit your self on what money you have now.
