Whats my oil pressure suposed to be?
i have jdm itr motor and was wondering what my oil pressure was suposed to read at. I have a gauge that tells me its at about 72 psi @ around 4000 rpm... also...
my car tends to try and stall out...it idles pretty rough and the oil pressure drops but the car is idling at around 700-800 and still idling rough...i hope its not my oil pump ahhh help me...

Idle should be around 20psi and WOT at around 80psi. A smaller oil filter like the HAMP will increase it by about 5psi. The JDM motor has higher compression so it may be a little higher but not much.
As for the stalling; do you have an aftermarket ECU or piggyback system?

Pressure should be between 20-25psi at idle when the car is at operating temps. WOT is between 75-80psi. Its been a while since I looked at my gauge, but the pressure relief valve should open at around 75psi when cruising...you'll see the pressure increase, then drop suddenly (~3-5psi) and hold steady.
Overall pressure will change with the size of the filter as Chris mentioned. Larger filters will reduce pressure, smaller will increase. These changes are not significant though, a difference of less than 10psi.

yeah i have a vafc 
---its a 94 civic cx hatch with jdm itr...i just bought it a week and 2 days ago!
and i cant post more than 5 a day how do i change this crap ha

The tune may be your problem. Not sure though. Hybrid forum may be able to answer that better for you.
