Default Messed up Eagle rod threads question..

I messed up one of the threads on one of my eagle rods.. It uses the ARP2000 bolts.. What is the thread and pitch size of the thread(not the bolt) so that I can run a tap across it and fix it up?

I don't think it is a good idea to run a tap into a rod. Anything that changes the thread contour (as a tap would) is bad for the strength of the rod. You might try a thread chaser instead.
Not sure on the size and tp on that bolt. I will check.

Try a 3/8 24 chaser unless you have the early bolts
