well, the short answer is that i do not believe that ecu control will. i dont know anything about bre.
the long answer.. is that i contributed some code to the ecu control project that uses vb.net,and i have heard that mono for linux will run .net executables.. so if you have osx that is bsd based you may be able to install mono and run the .net "binaries" through mono on your mac.. but then there are the driver issues. the code i contributed is more functional that frilly, but it may work if you spend some time working with it. here is a link http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtopic.php?t=8346 that contains the source and a windows installer. i dont know if mono will help you use that windows installer, but it may be worth a try. if it doesnt work or none of this makes even a little sense, you may just check out the forums for a mac based solution, or get ahold of a windows laptop on ebay. good luck.
