alright i know this isnt civic related but yall have always helped me out so i hope someone knows stuff bout eclipses. my girlfreind has a 99 eclipse rs. i was checking the oil in it the other day and noticed it was low. so then i moved onto spark plugs and on the cylinder closest to the tranny there was oil in the cup that the plug sits in it was probably 1\3 full of oil. so i pull the plug and let it drain on to the piston. the car has been cutting out below 2000 rpms in all gears only when it is WOT. clutch is fine not slipping at all. compression check came out like 185\195\205\190 thats starting at the cylinder closest to the tranny and on over to the one on the drived side. i dont know much bout these cars. but would it be the spark plug grommets and valve cover gasket????

 

im not mitsu expert, but sounds like a plug gormmet or something like that

 

we went ahead and changed that and we are going to get new plugs. but the compression sounds good for a 2.0l non-turbo?
