I am consider picking up a set of piston for gsr. Which one should I pick? JDM civic type R or integra type R? WHich is better? tks

 

go with ctr pistons
higher compression
it makes 10:8.1 in a b16b and with a gsr head will probably go 11:1
itr on a gsr around 10:6.1 or a lil more.
defenetly ctr pistons they r better

you mean 10.8:1 and 10.6:1?

ten point eight TO one ratio...
ten point six TO one ratio

 

So higher compression means more horse power? Also what is the red line if I change to ctr pistions

rev limit depends on what type of valve train you have...also if your cams make the power at high rpm's. but yes, higher compression with agressive cams= BIG POWER!
