Default Help>interior fogging up

I want to see if anyone have the same problem. My car is fogging up inside when it cold out. I dont mean the usual fog you get when it cold. There is condensation on the inside window like how it would on the outside.

I also notice it would fog up even when it not that cold out. Adding salt to old wounds, my blower is blown so no heat to clear the window.

So is this a bad weatherstrip or a leak somewhere? Lemme know your opinion cause i search all sort of forum and no one seem to have that problem. And it dangerous for me to drive without a clear view at night and early morning. so i need to get it fix soon.

Try to open the window sometimes. Check your windshield seals, I would reseal them.

My old car (1989 Prelude Si) used to have that problem for awhile. Also, I had water in my trunk and rear footwells. Sometimes standing water! Turns out it was clogged drain tubes from the sunroof opening. The problem was remedied by blowing the tubes out with compressed air. Hope this helps, as it was not immediately apparent to me what the problem was.Good luck with your condensation issue.

I forgot what causes this problem, but i think it might be your heater core, or your blend air doors. If your car has like a sweet smell to it, it's the heater core. Hope that helps.

Do 5th gens have those to ? Because im gettin some water in the trunk i thought it was coming in through the taillights, so i taped the gap between the trunk and light, it seemed to work. But recently ive seen some water in there.

I'm working on the same problem on my 2nd G5. The most common is the tail light gasket, if you get water in the spare wheel well. I have had almost all the interior removed trying to figure out my problem. No visible water inside..everything behind front seats removed..and the side windows still fog up.

the same thing happens with my 5th gen...and the weird thing is that the water is only in a small circle in the middle of the trunk. im gonna try the compressed air...i'll let ya know if that works.

I'll be damned...I have a tiny amount of water in my trunk too. I haven't had any reason to look under the trunk liner since before I bought the car 5 years ago. It was a small amount near the left taillight accumulated around the drain plug or grommet in the spare tire well. I just dried it with a towel. My windows have not been fogging up to my knowledge, but I am gonna have to keep an eye on this...

I have a heater core, and blower from my 94 teg if you need it. Located in Roseville $20 for all of it picked up.
