i did soap and water and got the black **** off.. but theres still sticky stuff on it from the rubber seal on there. i rubbed it hard with the cloth and soap and it started smearing making a blackish **** lookin skidmark..

would it be smart to use a color matching wax or just normal wax? i have normal maguires(sp) wax

be careful with the goo-be-gone, any citrus-based cleaners, or wd-40... they all work pretty well... but if you rub toooo hard into the material trying to get the stuff off... you'll sure get the crap out, but your clear coat might go with it as well... just a warning, good luck!

Clay that ****. I removed the wing on my DA, and I had some black crap engraved on the paint...for ***** and giggles, i tried an old bar of Mother's clay and Meguiar's detailer and it came right off.

I know the big plug is 1/2, and some of the small ones are 1/4. There's one or two more sizes I can't remember. 3/8 MIGHT be one of them

i heard acura carry's them but for 7 bucks.. then some guy in another thread posted a part number but never posted the damn place to buy them

so the big hole meaning the center hole? then the smaller holes are the two outside holes on either side?

any type of cleaner wax or rubbing compound would clean that right up..... even GS-27 would work.

I 2nd this! I had a DA that had the gay *** sunroof visor on it. When I took it off the surface of the paint was all rough and had dirt stuck to it that would just not come off. Got a clay bar and was amazed. It took all the dirt out of the paint and you couldnt even see it anymore. I continued to clay the entire car, what a difference. I am a firm believer in clay bars now.
