Anyone ever wet sand their headlights?

Anyone ever wet sand their headlights?
Hi, I just wet sanded my headlights with 1500 grit paper and polished them with meguiars plastic polish that claims to remove scracthes, but I still have some mildly obvious scracthes on my headlight when thet are turned on.... question is am i not polishing enough with the plastic polish or should i use higher sand paper grit? (By the way the headlights are clear after i sanded them)

Me too. If you still have scratches go down to like 1000 grit, really depends how bad it is. Mine were kinda deep, I started with 800-1500 grit and took it out pretty good.

they dont look deep they looks finer than a strand of hair..... i think ill try what
