engine cutting out bettween 1500-2000rpm why?
as the topic says, its cutting out between 1500 and 2000, its a jdm b18c, p28 ecu. i thought it was the ecu for awhile, but i set all values in that range back to the stock p30 map, spark and fuel. and nothing changed. so what else could it be. please help
ok, thats fine, but what would make that occure strictly in that rpm range? i don't see how, and therefore don't see how it would fix it. not hatin, just wondering if u know something i don't, but what the hell, i'll try it, i'm desperate
well if you are dumping too much fuel at lower rpms and not having enough spark to burn it that would make it cut at lower rpms..
i didn't touch the fuel map that low, but just to be safe i changed all the values back to the stock p30 map. didn't do jack

at this point i'm pretty sure its not the ecu. i've tried ******* with it, tried going back to the base map i had, and like i said i even tried the p30 values at low rpm. i could just burn a p72 map on it, but i doubt it'd help.

I've seen ecu chips do weird things like this before.
