itb's are made to give quicker throttle response for NA applications, your still going to have the turbo lag from the turbo, so your better off going with a big single throttle body and a good intake manifold

I am pretty sure the Lotus runs a setup like this stock, it has ITBs and and enclosed manifold to recieve the turbo boost so if they did it it must be worthy of reasearch. I do not know what kind of power you could make with this but it would take some HELLAFIED tuning!

Skylines are Turbo ITB, its a good setup, way better because each cylinder is getting alot better Metered Air comming in

the hard part is building a box to cover them that is air tight, or your just wasting your time

its just usualy more cost efficent to use the stock manifold and TB over ITB for Boosted applications

The ammount of time and effort, not to mention money, could be used to purchase say....a big block. You could get more torque and power out of that, then ITBs in my opinion. It would cost you alot in fabrication and tuning...but it would be awesome to see.

If you mean a Big Block V8??? That is one way out there comparison, modifying an intake manifold vs. modifying the ENTIRE car to accept a RWD V8?????? not really a good comparison, if somebody with the proper tuning/fabrication skills attempted this it would not be mechanically that hard, tuning would probably take more time than anything (or at least a good bit of time)

Anyone who believes itbs and boost are a waste of time are mistaken.
