Made a new plenum for my ITB's
Thought I'd share some basic fabwork that was done in the past weekend
Welding machine is a Miller EconoTIG.. The welding was done by a friend at his shop. Material was a 5" diameter 1/8" thick aluminum pipe, and endtanks are 1/8" thick, and the base plate is 1/2" thick. Idle Air Control Valve mount was machined from a piece of solid aluminum.

its the air inlet pipe where the charge piping goes.

um I dont think we are talking about the same thing here. I'm talking about the ~2.5 in tube welded to the body of the plenum.

Ahaha yeah about a second after I posted that I was like, **** I bet he's referring to whats on the manifold. I just assumed Luserkid was talking about the big silver tube mounted on the firewall.

Thanks for the comments everyone
I couldn't resist on the bling because I do the polishing myself. The results are often too irresistable that I ended up polishing anything that could be polished...lol

I never got a chance to dyno... My dyno guy decided to move and he just got the shop running again. So in the meantime, I've decided to go with a Dart block setup instead while my Camry was up and running

As much as I like going to the dyno, it always has to work its way around my everyday schedule. I didn't accomplish much this year either, no track times, no dyno, nothing.

Yup, I had the ITB's installed early last year with the boosted setup. This plenum though is a new one, with it being larger and had provision for the factory IACV
I never took pics of the process on my old plenum, so I figured I share some pics of the basic fab work.
