Very faint seat-belt beep. How to fix?
The warning beep that somes on when you aren't wearing your seatbelt is acting funky in my car. It sounds very "choppy" and weak. I know it sounds retarted but this is the best way I can describe it: it sounds like something is "stuck in it's throat", like it's "choking" if you know what I mean. <-- yes i know how that sounds, lol. But where is this beeper located? And where is the wiring for it? Any suggestions for making it beep to it's full potential?
I removed the warning buzzer in my 90 si crx. You could find the buzzer under the dashboard, in a computerized box. Close to the steering wheel.
May I suggest removing the buzzer?
I replaced my buzzer with a resistor of the same value.

I was gonna suggest cutting the wire to the speaker or whatever it is to eliminate it. Kinda annoying to me but some people like to keep that stuf.
