Default New FPR that eliminates the diaphragm

Guys, I know I'm cross posting here from the FI forum but, Arturbo agreed that this thread might be useful for the non-boosted guys as well.

A while back I posted a thread to get some feedback about a new FPR I’ve designed. I was asked to post when this FPR became available from various dealers, etc.

Here are some of the main points with this FPR:

*Absolutely no diaphragm, eliminates the use of diaphragms altogether
*Use as 1:1 for all motor, or 12:1 for starter turbo kit, or pure 1:1 for EMS, Uberdata, Hondata, etc.
*Adjustable static fuel pressure
*Interchangeable bypass fittings to adjust for different flow fuel pumps
*Rising rate ratio is infinitely adjustable between 1:1 and 12:1
*Designed to take a direct injection of Nitrous, so you can raise fuel pressure for a dry system
*Smaller in major diameter than AEM FPR for size references
*Bolts straight onto OEM and aftermarket fuel rails
*One part # will fit all Honda models

Here's the installation and tuning manual in case you guys need more detail http://www.synapseengineering....l.pdf

Here it is installed on an S2000

Guys, thanks for the input. It feels good that you guys think that it is a good looking part independently. I'm a function over fashion person first and foremost, but I did spend alot of time trying to make it aesthetically appealing.

very nice. it is funcitonable and fashionable at the same time.
i especially like the fact that you can adjust for larger injectors with a stock ecu.

...and once i can save up enough, i'll plunk down for one.

Thank you for the feedback guys. I just finished a big tuning session with TPR magazine, keep an eye out for it in the next issue.

For those of you interested turbokits.com has setup a group buy for this FPR:

Update on compatibility with Methanol: After consultation with various experts in the elastomer field, we have determined that the special blend used in the material specs of our seals are absolutely methanol compatible. So for those of you that asked earlier about Methanol compatibility, yes, it is compatible.

How well suited is this part for K20 swaps, where people typically have to install an aftermarket FPR because the RSX chassis uses a returnless fuel system and the older DC and EG chasses don't?

I don't know this first hand, so you might have to do some more research, but what I've been told and it seems logical, is that the S2000 fuel rail should bolt straight onto the K20.

You should be able to take a return F20C fuel rail, bolt it straight on, and then use our SC001 on that rail.

Or how about a typical aftermarket fuel rail, like Golden Eagle or AEM?

It looks like your FPR would eliminate the extra plumbing from the Aeromotive FPR (which most people seem to use for these swaps) to the fuel rail, and the only connection left would be from the return line to the bottom barb on the FPR.
