Ok, people. I've sold out. I bought a JDM motor. An SOHC ZC, to be exact.
Now, there's a question I have...
I'm swapping out the a6 I put in, which is obviously VERY straightforward. The only snag is that it has one less sensor on the intake manifold. I'm wondering what would happen without the sensor, would it just run fine, or will it constantly throw a code?
Pics will ensue:
Here's my old engine (ignore the two IACV's, it was an experiment)

and here's the new one:

your all wrong! dumbasses!
j/k lol thats the cold idle valve. it brings the idle up during a very cold warmup. i think it comes on when the air intake and coolent temps are like 20 degrease? anyway no it's not neaasary. your new motor will run fine w/o it

You mean to tell me I'm a dumbass??? Damn I have been trying to figure that out for years!
Yea, I was not sure the exact name but I did know "your new motor will run fine w/o it"
So does that make me only 1/2 a dumbass? lol

You missed with your "No Sensor" second circle picture.
That hose beneath your circle, with the two bolts and flat machined surface area, is where the sensor goes, if you have one.
...just in case you're confused where that hose eventually goes.
