Default my 99 accord remote?

sometimes at random times i cant unlock my car it didnt unlock and my alarm went off yesterday and i couldnt stop with the remote.. anyone know why?

I also have a 99 and mine does the same thing. At first I thought that the batteries were dying in the remote but then it would randomly work. So I am in the same boat you are. My alarm hasnt started going off though. I hope it doesnt.

dying battery can make it work erratically. Try replacing it then see if the problem improves.

yeah i did replace the battery and my alarm only went off because i accidnetly opend the door lol.. yeah its not the battery.. maybe its the remote it self?

could be the remote. Could just be an area where the signal isn't able to be carried far enough. "dead zones" It's hard to say without seeing it myself.

ohh damn yeah it doesnt work at point blank and i walk around the car clicking it lol and holding it -_- .. im starting tot hiink its the remote D:

Sounds like it. check ebay or your dealer to get a new one.
