My battery is dead/Alarm issues

My battery is dead/Alarm issues[solved]
Honestly, im damned sick of my stupid 1998 Honda Civic, EX 4 door.
I had it sitting in storage for 2 months, and now I go to start it and it is 100% dead.
I try to jump it and the alarm goes off. The lights flash away and I still cant get it to start. I try to turn off the alarm Via the remote and it doesnt do anything.
I pull the battery and try to slow charge it, and my dad says that for a full charge the volt meter or whatever the thing is, is supposed point to the number 6, but within a few hours its only at 2, even after waiting another 4 hours, its still at 2, perhaps even a bit lower than it was when I first checked it.
The same problem is still happening, except this time, when the battery is hooked up the alarm goes off as soon as its attached.
*sigh*
I called honda, they gave me this whole song-and-dance about locking all the doors and then unclocking the passenger 3 times and waiting 5 minutes. That doesnt work.
Leaving the trunk open doesnt work.
Quite frankly, I want to take a bat to my car.
I dont see a toggle switch for the alarm anywhere either.
Dear god, someone help a poor confused girly so she can get her car running before tuesday >_>;;

you might have to disconnect the alarm. look for the brain. or make sure the battery in the remote is good.

Yea, I thought that might be something I need to do. Unfortunatley, I am not 100% sure on how to do that without potentially doing something wrong. I think my alarm is on the drivers side near the back. I tried to take out the fuses from the battery itself disconnecting the power, but it doesnt after pulling everything (or everything that would come out), the alarm still goes off.
Nah, Im no pyro. I like to take my rage out on things using my whole body

that usually where the wires com thru the firewall. try to trace them and see if it leads you to the power source. sometimes people might run the to the fuse box under the hood. just get a light and luck under the dash for the wires coming from the engine bay. should lead you to the brain. it might help to take the panels off for easy access

Re: My battery is dead/Alarm issues (Crushed)
Is it an aftermarket alarm?...if it is, look under the steering column and unplug the main alarm "box". I remember that my alarm went off once when I reconnected my battery. I just waited and hit the disarm button. And then it went off.
But if it's a honda factory alarm...I dunno anything about them.
Why don't you get a new battery?...and if you do...I usually disconnect my battery for storage.

Before I go pulling wires, would disconnecting the alarm allow me to start the engine?
My dad seems to think that even if the alarm is disconnected the engine, it still wont start.

Well...your alarm might be thinking someone is trying to steal it activating the starter kill...disconnect the main box and you won't have an alarm...and you car will start or allowing you to start it.
