Default Just finished my z6 swap...some problems

Hey guys, I just finished me d16z6 swap and I am having some issues.

First problem is that there seems to be a lot of air in the coolant. Let my car idle with the radiator cap off, and sometimes revving it to 2500 rpm, but he bubbles keep coming. I have done this about 3 times.

Second problem is the idle at full warm up bouncing around between 800-1000rpm. Does this problem have to do with air in my coolant?

Thanks

Make sure your heater control is set on full heat, and dbl check all your hoses to make sure you dont have a leak. Ive had to bleed coolant systems for 15-20 minutes before! More than likely air in your coolant is causing the idle to fluctuate.. ive also had a similiar problem when my TPS got out of adjustment (if its ever been removed)

has the TPS ever been taken off the throttle body? if it has, its possible its out of calibration. if its still riveted on, its fine and more than likely a coolant problem.

If you are positive you have removed all the air for the system you may want to look into a leaking headgasket allowing combustion gases to escape into your coolant.

Changed the headgasket before putting the motor in.
