idle problem

Default idle problem

my car was running fine all day and when i went to start it up later on it was idleing really wierd going from like 800 to 1200 rpm i dont know what it would be because there is no cel any ideas

clean the iacv with carb cleaner behind the IM

what is the iacv because i thought the problem was air in the coolant because one of my friends said that might be it so i changed the coolant cuz it was just water and it didnt fix it so now i am gonna try that

i filled the coolant and bled it to get all the air out and it is still having the problem so i will mess with the iacv but i searched and i couldnt figure out were it was so if any1 has a picture that would be nice

If its not the iacv, try the fast idle thermo valve (fitv). This solved my friends idle, after a new iacv didnt work. Look in the forums for how-to's on both of these, they'll guide you step by step.
