Default motor question *need help*

i did jdm d15 swap and put a skunk 2 intake mani and now my car over heats a lil and the rpm idle jumps up and down, what could be causing this problem, i checked for vacuum leaks, couldn't seem to find any, so if anyone has any thoughts, i'm open for suggestions

If the Intake wasnt tightened down all the way or unevenly then it could be casueing your erratic idle. Also if you didnt get off all the old gasket off the head when you took the old manifold off then sometimes the new one doesnt seal right. As far as the overheating was the skunk 2 manifold meant to be on motor you put it on. If not let me know and i might have some answers.

the intake manifold i got was made for all the d-series motors, the intake is tightened down, and i'm pretty sure all the old gaskets were completely taken off, one of my friend's said it could be the air idle control, but i'm not sure, do you have any other ideas?

It could be that, Ive also heard people say it could be the tps( throttle positions sensor but i dont really deal with sensors myself. But did it do it before the mainfold was replaced?

naww, all those sensors are good, the map sensor and tps are good, a lil bit, but it would quit when the car warmed up, and also the car is running really rich

i'd play with the IACV first and if that doesn't work i'd check the gaskets again.
