Default ITR FRONT END FOR CIVIC....ON INTEGRA??? Question

ok, a guy offered me a complete ITR front end conversion for a 96-00civic, he said the bumper support and radiator support were different for the civics conversion than the Integra, i would be putting it on a 97 Integra GS....so i just want to know if it even is a difference so i can go ahead and buy it and if i do need more parts i'll know what else i need, sorry to create new topic but i searched and found no results...thanks

what do you mean itr conversion for civic. is it some custom thing that he did out of a jdm front end integra or some kit made for the civic. if its that i dont think its going to work for you.

no, he said he ordered it for a civic, and was like " i think the bumper support and the radiator support are different so you might have to get the ITR ones of those", but if its a ITR front end...it should have all integra parts.....its just that the way he explained it it seemed like it was a ITR Conversion "Kit" ....like it was made to go on a civic

ya i have heard of these kits i saw one on a car in a pic one time it looks good suprisingly. if u want to do this buy a jdm front clip and follow these steps its the right way to do it if u want.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/278372/6 just act like its yer car and a jdm front end it will work!

ok, the question is, will a JDM-ITR(Integra) front end that was supposively for a 96-00 civic still fit on a Integra or does it come with different parts(bumper support/radiator support).....i Have an Integra that i want to put it on

Pretty positive if it's a JDM ITR front end for a CIVIC... it has different parts you'd think. I'm pretty positive it wont be just a bolt on thing.

Is it a metal front end or some cheap fiberglass? If you can get it for a good enough price and it's genuine JDM, buy it and then buy the rad/bumper supports seperately

he was most likely going to customize for his civic. unless he is referring to a civic type R front end that he bought for his car...

Looking at that.....looks like if that were to be "OEM" style with no aftermarket flare to it, its just that they molded the fenders to work with the body of the civic and perhaps....shortened the hood?

I had a friend who put the ITR front end on his 96-99 civic coupe ( can't remember which year cept he painted it blue ). Used all OEM parts. He had to extend his frame out, cut the fenders ( corners ) and weld it to the civic fenders so that everything looked like the car came that way. I don't have any pics anymore, but it was a clean job except for the cf hood that looked a little bit crooked
