are b series intake manifolds inter changeable, will a b18a intake manifold of a 90 obd0 teggy fit a jdm b18b in order to convert to obd0???

any help would be great , by the way the motor is going into a 91 civic hatch dx

Yes i believe all b-series intake manifolds are interchangeable except for the B18C1

 

Um, from what I remember, only the b16 and b18c5 have interchangable intake manifolds, the GSR mani and ls mani are different.

 

They will all bolt up GSR mani has the secondary runners

 

LS intake manifolds will only fit LS/B20 heads. GSR IM will only fit GSR heads. B16/ITR manifolds will interchange.

From what I understand and remember though this is correct!

Posted a couple of pictures comparing the ITR and LS manifolds... if someone could post a picture of the bolt patter to the B16 and GSR manifolds that would be great.

I hope people read through this whole thread and are able to find the truth...

ITR and B16 are the same.

 

so the only interchangeable manifolds are the b16 and the r right, and all the ls manifolds are all the same ,runners wise right, or are they different depending on the year

and what i meant by the motor is going into a 91 dx is that i'm trying to convert the b18b into obd0 and drop it into the civic

Runners are the same, throttle bodies are going to be different sensor wise, as well as the locations of the coolant hoses into and out of the throttle body/intake manifold.

 

so i should be fine with the obd0 intake mani in the obd1 block right

 

dont forget about the EGR valve...... for obd0

 

there are 3 b seris im bolt patterns
1 b16/itr
2 gsr
3 Ls/b20
