Default B18C1 to 2000 Dx Hatch Throttle Cable Problems

Hey,

I swapped a JDM B18C1 into my 2000 Dx Hatch last summer. I orderd a GSR throttle cable from IL4, as I had been told it was the one I needed for the swap. The throttle cable didn't fit right, the wire was too long, even with the adjustable nut put all the way at the bottom of the bolt thing. I had to get it out of the garage so I just said screw it, as it would still work, but it would not go all the way to WOT. I just ordered a replacement one from my local Acura dealer last week, hoping it would solve the problem, but it didn't. Does anyone have any ideas? Could the JDM throttle cable bracket be shorter than the USDM one, or could it be that maybe my gas pedal is bent or something?

Thanks for any help!

I have used the GSR t-cable with out troubles.

It needs to be routed correctly (different than stock) -you have to route it around like a GSR has it.

well its so short, that it can only go one way, but it's way to long, i wonder if my gas pedal could be bent or something, but if so, its bent a lot, i'll get a picture...
