spun a bearing and i will most likely have to micro p. the crank. im also getting new pistons and rods..... what determines the correct rod size to buy? im going to be 81.5 on a b18a block eagle rods and srp pistons 8.9:1
What ever block you have detemines the size. If you spun a bearing and the micro polishing can get it out, you will just need larger bearings on that journal. If they can't get it out may need new crank

micro polishing only removes a "micro" amount. no need for larger bearings. if you need to get the crank ground then you will need oversized bearings.
micro polishing usually is not enough to repair a journal that had a bearing spin on it.

im no expert but it doesnt look severly damaged. i cant feel any gouges and whatnot. but then agin, maybe its beyond the scope of human senses that may affect the wear of the bearings/rod
Your best bet to get the final word would be to talk to Earl.
