Default Intake manifold

I have a 95 civic with a d15b6, i got a d16y8 intake manifold. I need to get a new gasket, but i dont know which to get.
I went to a local autoparts store and asked for a d16y8 intake manifold gasket, and he said that it would not fit my car becuase the holes didnt match with my engine. Any one know what gasket I would need or if that guy is full of crap?

tell him to blow you. if you have the y8 IM, why wouldnt you use the y8 IM gasket? the manifold swap has been done, and thus the **** lines up UNLESS your IM is from a 99-00 Civic with the air injection holes.

Yea, that guy is full of it. the parts lists at napa and stuff are not always 100%

the y8 is the stock engine for the 96-00 ex, so whichever you ask for, engine or car, should be the same.

I havn't seen any difference in any of the aftermarket gaskets for any d series engine except the 99-00 Y8.
