Default LS/VTEC bolts/studs NEED HELP

Do i really need to upgrade the rod bolts on a simple LSVTEC? it will not be a built engine, just the standard swap with a few bolt ons (I/H/E) stage 1 clutch/flywheel and MAYBE mild cams.... nothing extreme..

also, do i need the ARP studs? or head bolts? or will the GSR studs/bolts work???

thanks!

p.s. im using the GSR head.

If your building the motor, why not just upgrade the rod bolts anyway?

I would use ARP head bolts, for a B18 block, or whatever block you are using.

thats just it, i mean, im building the lsvtec, but its pretty much gonna be stock everything, only aftermarket there will be will be mild stuff (intake, exhaust, header, clutch, etc)

is it worth it? i mean, am i in danger with throwing a rod with that mild setup?
