the only thing i can think of is if your ride is very bumpy, the screws could have come loose over time.

i dunno.. the ride is a lil bumpy thanks to cut springs but still it shouldnt of come off.. no just one pulley. the alt and AC one... also which way takes the big bolt out? is it left like a normal screw or is it to the right ??

thanks

They are all Right hand thread. Nothing out of the normal. The main crank pulley should be a bear to get off, It has some serious tourqe on it. The others, I haven't even figured out how to get off.

when u hit 6000 rpms a little gremlin hops out your radiator and starts pulling bolts

maybe that was the cause of it.........where you making a sharp right turn? that would have sent him flying to that side of the engine. Your lucky it wasn't your crank pully.

Wait your pulley fell off!? Oh **** that means that your r/s ratio is off! The only way to fix it is to buy a new crank and use the alternator bracket off of an 88 wagovan civic. Could be vaccum lines though. But remember, the only thing that really goes bad on hondas is the distributor, so that means that your valves are worn. You could always go the cheap route and wire in an RPM activated switch to your fuel pump relay, cutting off your fuel at 3850rpm. I had to do that once, but it involved pulling the motor, I wouldn't do it again.

Just bolt it on harder this time and use some threadlock if you're really worried about it.
