H22A Swap. Has fuel, compression and spark. Car won't start. Help appreciated.
OBDI JDM H22A in a 96 Prelude SI.
Using factory harness with everything else off JDM motor.
Distributor is wired directly to the ecu and the power being sent from the plug for the external coil has be forward to the coil plug for the jdm distributor.
Appears to sparking fine but wont start. It pops and stuff but won't start.
Car is in time. Its getting fuel but just won't start.
It had attempted starting quite a few times before the I had the distributor working so there is a chance of it being flooded. Blew alot of air into the motor to rid it of fuel and no change.
Trying to get the car back to its owner but need to figure this little problem out.

check your ignitor wiring, you're already getting 2 of the three tings needto to start so, check over your wiring again. If you have a wiring diagram to compare it to dat would make life much easier.
fuel timing and spark is all you need. you say the motor is timed right. You are getting fuel. So i would go with the spark. if anybody has a diagram for the wiring that would be beneficial. Other than that. what have you done to verfify spark?
Pulled each spark plug left it plug in the wire and grounded it. Turned over motor to verify each was sparking.
