CRANKS SPARKS but NO START ?
ok so i have a jdm h22a in a 96ek*obd1-obd2a* i wired the distrib and it cranks and sparks *i shocked myself* but it still wont start im thinking fuel? i give it gas and it like starts for only 1/2 a sec and dies?? only cel im throwing is vtec bc its not wired im thinking my distrib went out but then wouldn't it not spark?
any help would be appreciated

is your fuel pump priming?
is there fuel at the fuel rail?
Sounds like a fuel issue to me... maybe main relay??....

if those check out, what about the coil or ICM? maybe it has an intermittent spark that you got the kick from. Then maybe double check the distributor wiring.
