problem after timing belt
teacher from school and i did the timing belt/balance shaft belt/water pump on my h22a4 and its been making some noise, like a whining sound, i know its coming from the timing belt area, pretty sure timing and balance belt r right( feel good about that) we did it like two days before i moved from new york to alabama (time was short to get it down and it was the only time i could do it) and it still makes the noise looked at it yestraday and i saw the crank pulley is wobbling, so i found a performance shop and the guys said he agrees with me, so question is the teeth on the pulley could be damage, so could someone give me some advance, to check the pulley(i know thats not the actual name but anyway i would have to redo it all right the timing and the balance belt, i should check the teeth on the pulley right or just screw it on or what u guys think got like 2000 miles on it since the timing was done havent been driving it to hard but a couple of times.
sorry for writing so much but figure this may help answer any ? u guys may have
thanks for any help.

mine did the same thing on my 98 base. it happens when one of the belts is too tight or too loose by just a hair. tinker with your AC, PS, and alternator belts, and if that doesn't do it then check your balance shaft and timing belts. as for your pulley, its sounds like a big problem to me, but it wouldn't be making the sound you are describing. your pulley would make a clunking noise. hope this helps.
