i just pickup a 92 cx hb... and i cant get it started.... when i crank it want start. when u just turn it to the ON u dont hear the little whine form the fuel pump.
ok it has a new distr. new starter... what could it be... the ecu or the pump..or what... help me please

 

pull the back seat up and have somone turn it to the on position with your head by the fuel pump cover and see if you hear the fuel pump prime...if it doesnt try your main relay...if it primes check your coil

 

which coil...?

 

the ignition coil...the one in the distributor...just trade it out with a friend that has a running car and see if that fixes it

 

can u give more info? Is it turning over? Maybe a frozen fuel line? probably a burnt out fuel pump if u don't hear that humming sound for like .8 of a second

To check if the distributor's working, unplug the spark plugs (and leave them connected and see if there's a spark in all 4 plugs when you turn over the engine (need 2 pple for that)
