Header and oil pan

Default Header and oil pan

Do I need to remove the lower part of the header to chagne the oil pan?

Gettin ready to do it tonight just trying to get a idea of what im going to be up against tonight.

For ease of it all, yes take it off, though IIRC you can wiggle it out but be careful of the oil pickup screen. Play it safe though, remove the lower part of the header.

Do you have a manual? You'll need the torque specs for all the bolts you'll be taking off. You also need to take off the clutch cover. Don't forget to buy the gaskets (2) that goes from the exhaust manifold to the lower pipe. You can reuse the donut gasket that the cat bolts up to.
