I want to know if this is a vacume line or this is some other line. I want to take out this entire piece and just put silicone tubeing there instead.

I can't really see the picture that well because my screen sucks. However, I do think it is a coolant line. I'm not 100% sure though.

The tube that goes from the valve cover to the intake is a breather and the other goes to the throttle body and contains coolant. You can use silicone for the intake because it never really sees any extreme conditions, but I would recommend something a little more durable for the colant line that is piggybacked with it.

that is a coolant line. i would use hi temp hose from an autoparts store if you wanna take out the medal piece.
