Y7/Y8 Mini Me ??? Hitting the Rev Limiter at 3500
alright last nite i finished my y7/y8 mini me swap but i left the a6 intake manifold and dizzy so that i didnt have to rewire anything its still obd0.... When i first started it it ran a lil rough so we checked the timing it was good. so we took it around the block and it pulled fine all the way up to 7k then i went to do another pull it hit the rev limiter at like 3000 or 3500. When i got home i shut it off and try to start it and it just cranked and cranked and cranked.. any ideas

same thing happened to a crx i used to have it wound up being the crank angle sensor was being burnt up because of a short in teh wireing harness keept having to change the distributors went through 3 before i found out if you kicked the pannel by the ecu the car would work fine but if you touched it agian it would hit rev limiter at 3500...
if i were you i would just change the harness...

it ended up being tps and main relay fuse but not that its fixed the car takes for ever to get 7k like at least 5 seconds in first gear and its back firing like crazy
