You can always do the typical intake, header, exhaust. But, they will not yield a big improvement over stock. If it were me, id do what most other people are going to tell you to do. Swap a K20, or turbo the engine in it.

Between $4k-$5.6k (not including shipping) depending on if you want the K20A2 or just the K20A JDM engine.

http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/ for the site and

for the specific page of the K20A, the K20A2 is on the last page.

dude, if you really want to do something start working on suspension stuff. drop it a little, get front and rear strut bars, sway bars, you could make it a handling monster witht the right set up. and it would cost you about the same as intake header and exhaust.
Dezod has a package deal with sway bars shocks and coilovers for like 800 bucks.
but if you want cheapo speed get a 70 shot of nitrous and be done with it.

Wouldnt it be cheaper to buy an rsx-s to begin with? rather then dropping a k20 in a civic.
