rear window crack
the other day i was folding the soft top down and i heard this crack and i figured it was nothing. Well later that night i was driving to CVS and noticed that the rear plastic window was cracked. i tapped it up for the mean time.. IT LOOKS WHACK... i need help. what should i do?? can i replace it with the glass windows? or can i get it fixed somehow???
How about making one thread and asking all your questions? Don't pollute the S2k forum with a bunch of threads.
To answer your question, a new softtop can be had, with glass, for around $800-900 new.
To answer your other question, you can adjust the catcher and latch to make your top fit more tightly.

First you say glass, then you say plastic. Make up your mind.

I think what he's trying to ask, which I want to know also, is can you replace the plastic window with a glass one without replacing the entire top?

since you live in NoVA.... call up nguyen at criswell honda...240-364-7183 ... tell him dylan sent you....
you can get just the plastic.. or you can swap out to a glass top... but swaping out to a glass top you need to also replace the skeleton....
PS... do not put the plastic rear window top down when it's under 45degrees.... it'll crack..

I gave him both options, to replace just the plastic or the whole top and get glass with it. There isn't an option #3.

You can do a conversion with out repacing the soft top frame. I did my conversion already.
