How about making one thread and asking all your questions? Don't pollute the S2k forum with a bunch of threads.

To answer your question, a new softtop can be had, with glass, for around $800-900 new.

To answer your other question, you can adjust the catcher and latch to make your top fit more tightly.

First you say glass, then you say plastic. Make up your mind.

Plastic: $174

Whole new top w/ glass: $921

I think what he's trying to ask, which I want to know also, is can you replace the plastic window with a glass one without replacing the entire top?

since you live in NoVA.... call up nguyen at criswell honda...240-364-7183 ... tell him dylan sent you....

you can get just the plastic.. or you can swap out to a glass top... but swaping out to a glass top you need to also replace the skeleton....

PS... do not put the plastic rear window top down when it's under 45degrees.... it'll crack..

I gave him both options, to replace just the plastic or the whole top and get glass with it. There isn't an option #3.

if i daily drove the S, i'd look at option #3... $2500 for one on the s2ki for sale section...

i had the plastic window before..it sucked.. (although it did have more visibility (when it was actually clean))

You can do a conversion with out repacing the soft top frame. I did my conversion already.
