Pulling key out with the car running.
hey guys, i noticed that in my 93 lx i can start the car, and pull the key out, and drive the car with no key in the ignition.
is this normal?
i actually like it, because i can start the car and let it warm up with the doors locked.
and if this is not normal then mabey it has something to do with this issue.
sometimes i cannot turn my key without jiggling it a little bit, the wheel isnt locked, but i cant turn the key...i jiggle it a bit and it turns right over.
i have two brand new keys (the one i usually use is worn down a bit) but the two new keys do the same thing.

Nope its not normal, before you know your ignition lock is going to give in.
Soon you'll be able to start you car with any key.
Have it looked at...

No,..... It is NOT normal. The tumblers in the lock portion of your ignition switch assembly have worn.
There is no recall for this issue / this year.
