is it just a rough idle? that could be all kinds of problems

could be the pcv valve bad (check it with motor running and pinch the line, if you hear it click it works)

any codes? check the ecu for flashing with key on engine off

hows plug condition?

hows the plug wires? how long since they've been replaced? same with cap and rotor...

You should do a compression check, and leakdown test to make sure its not the internals of the engine, since you did put another head on it. You might have gotten ripped on the head, and it might not be any good. I'd check it, to make sure. And if it checks out all good, I'd look at the ignition system, then the fuel system, and double check everything is hooked up right.

ive had the same problem since i bought my car 2 years ago. when it reaches regular temp. and idle goes down to 700, it idles rough. but, since ive bought the car, ive replaced: cap and rotor, plugs and wires, fuel filter, and i did a leakdown and compression test. i think maybe my motor mounts might be getting worn out.

well the mounts are basically a shock absorber. which is why they are part rubber. im probably wrong, but with time couldnt the mounts wear out, thus making the whole car vibrate more?

Did you change your ECU when you did the conversion? Did the car run like this after the conversion? The ECU might be the problem...I'm not sure of the auto to manual differences, but it's a possibility...someone correct me if I am wrong.

The stock mounts absorb a lot of vibration. If you put aftermarket mounts in your car, the vibration goes WAY up. Get under your hood, and manually rev your motor using the throttle body. See if your motor rocks excessively, and then see if your mounts have any damage if it does. Does the engines idle bounce up and d own erraticaly?
