Default Replacing Caliper Help

1994 Accord EX

I am replacing a front driver's side caliper (I picked one up used) after I put in a new seal kit in for it. I had some questions:

1. Do i have to bleed the entire brake system again, or just that one wheel?
2. How do I keep the fluid from oozing all out when i disconnect the brake line from the caliper and drying out the master cylinder?

Any tips on the precedure?

1)you do not need to bleed the whole system ONLY if you do the following.

2)use a locking clamp to clamp down the brake line(just couple of inch from the caliper, use a piece of rubber if you worry about the tooth of the clamp damaging your brake line. Bleed it after all work are done
this is how the shop do it.

remember don't leave it clamp down brake line for a week or something, do it in timely manner

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing but needed verification. The swap should be fairly quick (minutes) since the two calipers will be right next to eachother for a quick swap of lines.

Thanks!

no problem, just make sure you don't twist the clamp once it's locked. or the brake hose will have blister
