Brake line bleeding...
You mean bleeding through the bleed valves on the calipers, right? (and not disconnecting the brake lines)...
If you have noticed a softer pedal or have recently done rotor/pad work, it's a good idea to bleed them. But usually a street car shouldn't need it that often...

street cars should have the entire brake system (and clutch, if hydraulic) flushed and rebled every two years. moisture, impurities, and rust WILL accumulate in the system and will eventually destroy the seals, master cylinders, etc if this is not done. Look at the container that you bleed into when you are done and you will be horrified at the rust particles, etc in your 119k mile old fluid....
I do this religiously to my street cars and tow vehicles and have never needed to replace any brake components other than pads. If you keep very clean fluid in your systems, you very well might never need to replace seals, master cylinders, etc.
My two race cars get flushed out/bled 3 times per year.

Ok sounds good. I need something to do anyway. So any of you guys have the helm manual and dont mind scanning me the pages for this procedure. That would be great. Thanks in advance.
