Hi,
i have a strange problem
when i start my car my idles normal..
when i drive, and at the lights as i put it into neutral, sometimes the rpm stays at 1000-2000rpm ! it just stays up there while i'm in neutral and have stopped
the only way to get it downis if i tap the throttle just a lil'bit (less than 1cm even)
anynone know what cuold be wrong?
engine is a d16a8

sticky throttle cable?

 

I had a 88 hf with that same problem.
I found a small rubber line on th im that had collapsed.

 

yeah i had the same problem. sticky throttle cable and throttle body
