car won't start...weird buzzing...please help
So i just got done swapping my spark plugs and thermostat and i took my car for a spin down the street and it dies like 2 blocks away.
It started again and got my within pushing distance before it dies for good.
When it died and when you turn the key to the on position it makes this really weird buzzing from like under the dash while my cel is on. the cel is like its the buzzing.
I tried swapping ecu's and still the same. someone please help.
Car cranks over as well

the main relay is located right above the hood latch...its a black square box with a plug with about 6-10 wires goin to it...its held on by a 10MM head bolt....try tapping it with a screw driver or something solid...if its stops buzzing and the engine starts..replace it...either way replace it anyways, being that the car is an 88...its gonna give out anyways...its like $50 at honda..
So i went and tried tapping the main relay but i couldn't find it. So i was just wiggleing and tapping things in that general area and it worked. Car started and it stayed running til i shut it off like 5 minutes later.
Now it won't start and is doing the same thing. Found main relay and tapped it some and still won't start this time. New main relay?

so i got a new relay and still have the same problem. it starts but its not reliable enough to drive. it shuts off at its own will. still get the clicking noise as well.
what else could my problem be?

i'm having the same problem, also, since the main relay didn't fix it,also try your ignitor (sp?),\.
my car is stuck at work, i changed the main relay today there, so now i'm gonna change the ignitor to see if that works.

Does it turn over but not fire? or does it not turn over at all? if the latter is true, then I would vote relay, ground, battery/alternator, or distributor.

Yeah would trying a new ECU now that there is a new relay possibly fix the problem?

answer this so we can maybe answer the problem.
buzzing usually indicates excessive resistance, probably loose ground somewhere (thermostat most likely since u said u just changed it).

Were you having these problems before changing thermostat and spark plugs? No? Then likely there is your problem. Double and triple check what you worked on.
yes it turns over and i have already tried a differnet ecu.
I double checked the work i did and its all fine.
No i wasn't having this problem before.
Are there any other grounds i should check besides the thermostat housing ground?
