I have recently purchased an 89 crx hf with a disc brake convertion. the problem is that i drove it back from iowa with no top caliper bolt, along with other problems that i had (i live in WI). it seems that the bolt i am looking for is somewhat elusive. It's size is M10 x 1.0 by about 4 inches long. has anyone seen this bolt? i never thought that 1 bolt could hold me up so much. thanks for any imput.

 

go to a junkyard... if you dont feel like doing that im almost positive that advance auto parts has it... good luck bro

Ive been to the junk yard, and havent found anything similar. I even had a freind order the crx si top caliper bolt from honda but i isnt the right one.

 

it may be a rear disc from an integra.

 

I sarched the i-net for the caliper thats on the car and it says that it is a 1.6 si brake caliper, the # is 16cl13vn. i also searched for the bolt but i cant find the lenght (it not listed), and id prfer not to spend $20.00 on the wrong bolt.

 

It could be Lo-Buck EF. i havent looked into that.

 

has anyone seen this size bolt in a front honda caliper?

 

i think auto zone has that bolt. they have a section of nuts and bolts.

 

ive tried ace hardware store and they didnt have it. it seems like a part that autozone woud tell you to go to honda for so i havent tried them.

 

I have tried honda also but its not a 89 crx si bolt. maybe a 88, 90, or 91.

 

im sick of this F%#^ bolt. i have to get away from this computer.

 

bro im almost positive that advance auto has it... i used to work there and i know they have M10 bolts but youd have to call and ask them about the thread depth and the overall length of the bolt
